Dr. Reginald Carey
Dr. Reginald Carey was born in Eleuthera, The Bahamas. After high school, he attended the University of the West Indies where he attained the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B., B.S.) degree.
After completing his internship in Nassau, he went to England to specialize, returning to The Bahamas as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). He is an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West Indies and consultant at Princess Margaret Hospital.
He is a member of the Bahamas Medical Council and a member of the Medical Association of the Bahamas. He was awarded Physician of the Year from Doctors Hospital in 1998 and nominated in 2008.
